"A Personal Career Tour Through the Aerospace Sector"

Mr. Geoff Ritchie is an aerospace engineer with a career that spans the Royal Air Force, air accident investigations, airline operations, maintenance management, leasing and asset management, aircraft new build project management, financing and contracts. He has aviation experience in multiple environments on a global scale including; military, corporate, entrepreneurial, and government.

STEVEN FAHEY
- Aircraft Structures Engineer, Avmax
"How to attach anything to a helicopter"


Mr. Steven Fahey's career began in 1999 at Aero Design, where he spent 13 years designing, prototyping and testing repairs and modifications to aircraft and helicopters all across Canada. Afterward, he spent 5 years with Field Aviation supporting complex modifications to aircraft for coast guards, border surveillance and security for international governments. Today at Avmax Aviation, he is part of an engineering team that supports the operations of a fleet of over 100 aircraft.

KURTIS KRAEMER
- Aircraft Structures Engineer, Avmax
"Highlights and lessons learnt from a still-young aerospace career"


Mr. Kurtis Kraemer holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alberta. His career has included both government and industry positions in Ottawa, Montreal, and Calgary, and a wide range of military, commercial, and R&D projects. He is currently a Transport Canada delegated aircraft structures engineer at Avmax, based in Calgary.
